i was extremely creative my whole life. For as long as i can remember i wanted to be a tattoo artist and eventually i found myself working in a body arts studio with some extremely talented individuals. unfortunately my mind was completely plagued by thoughts that i wasn't good enough and i decided to quit shortly after my dad passed away. I was completely devastated and came to the conclusion that i wasn't now nor was i ever a true artist. I told myself that people had lied or overestimated me when they gave me compliments on my art and it really burnt a hole in my heart and mind. Its been 5 years since then and i feel like i don't even know who i am without art, but i don't know how to find the artistic parts of myself that i have lost.

But we teach kids, people, that if they can't draw, or sculpt, they're not creative. Creativity can manifest in so many different ways. There are eminent artists today who create shadow art by arranging piles of waste and rubbish! Encourage and allow everyone to Be Creative, whether it means they create a garden patch and grow veggies, or design and sew clothing, or write a book. We are our own worst enemies smh.
