Word on the Street is: As someone who doesn't drink, and goes under the speed limit... i don't get to often show my ID. It is not a nice photo. I'm just odd.

I have officially made it my life goal to find a frame like that

I had the opposite. My grandma was a prison warden. But she's the quietest and most timid woman I know, and she should have definitely been a librarian instead.

This reminds me of this old lady handing out candy for trick or treat when I was a kid.

We had gone one town over from where I lived to where two of my nephews live. We were a big group of kids going house to house to get candy. Well, my two nephews go to this old lady who was handing out candy, and we saw them get some and decided to go get some too.

We walk up to the door, say trick or treat, and she just looks at us. And then asks our parents where they are from here. And they told her no. So she looks at them and back to all of us kids and tells us we have to leave because she won't give candy to kids from out of town. And I remember being one of the older kids watching the younger ones be so confused and just sad. They didn't show a fit or anything it was just quiet sadness.

I think that was the moment of my childhood that I realized people are awful, and I have made it my personal mission to always hand candy out to every kid I see during Halloween. I even hand out tonkids twice, and I let the little bitty ones get their own handful.

I had one teacher who was simultaneously really chill and really strict. She would let some people talk all the time, but snap immediately at others. She was a good teacher, just not my favorite.

How the hell are you so good at lining? You should do a brush tutorial or something. Like the techniques you use to keep the brush the same distance off the paper

She was probably trying to intimidate people to keep the beach to herself

I despise people like that. Get enjoyment from ruining other people’s fun.

I'd be afraid to know what she would have said to you if you hadn't changed your ID yet 😅

6th grade science teacher. No noise in that class, ever. we couldnt speak or use the restroom or get water. It was dead silent. (she sucked at teaching too)

Right off the bat I thought of my teacher aunt who used to be a cop and hates dealing with kids

Those are the type of people who go missing (not because they put themselves in harms way to help others) but because they put themselves in harms way by making the wrong person mad pretending they have more power and authority then they actually do.

Funnily enough my former student counselor was a prison guard before switching to education. She was the epitome of kind but stern. She would always listen to you and comfort you if she can see you're having a hard time, would meditate any problems you're having with other teachers or students, gave realistic and helpful advice but didn't take any BS and wasn't afraid to reem you out if you were being a little shit. Honestly the perfect fit for battling the middle and high school tween/teen hormonal tornado, she kept us all grounded and I'll forever be grateful and appreciative of everything she's done for us

We had a English teacher at my school that used to be a prison security guard. He was chill and had alot of cool stories.

The lady who "guarded" entrance to my school. I have no idea what her actual job there was but not letting students in when they were late or too early was the only work I saw her do. It could be the worst weather possible, almost flooding but she would just stand there on the other side stareing at us with a smile. And I was always too early because there was only one bus for me to get to school 😭
You'd think that it was what she was told to do, but when she was sick, other lady was letting us in with no problem just asking why we were early/late, sometimes for id.

My mind immediately go to "that would probably be a fast and easy way to get more identity for an identity thief" 😅

For me, it was my 6th grade math teacher. He absolutely hated being a teacher and would order us around all class. He’s even throw books and other objects at us if he didn’t like what we were doing, even if the slight was perceived. He still works there only because of him having tenure there.

It's the only control she has it make her feel worth something. She is probably alone maybe even lost someone close to her
