American Horror Story: Hotel Casts Matt Bomer & Cheyenne Jackson Season 5 - Paleyfest 2015

Some of our favorites from American Horror Story reunited over the weekend for some big season 5 announcements!
Alright, so the annual Paleyfest fan event took place over the weekend, and not only were we treated to some interesting stories and insights from the Freak Show cast, but we learned about some details for next season. Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson are officially joining the cast! First off, there’s some interest sparking from the fact that Bomer wasn’t the most candid when it came to his on-screen relationship with Lady Gaga, who is also confirmed for AHS: Hotel, basically saying he can’t confirm nor deny if there will be love there. You might remember that we caught him in a smaller role on Freak Show, saying QUOTE”I love collaborating with Ryan Murphy” – the show’s co-creator and EP, adding that he’s ready to go to the deep end! Jackson seemed quite enthusiastic to join the cast as well – he worked with Ryan on Glee, as you might remember. Sadly, AHS star Jessica Lange will not be back. I miss her already…. As far as potential storylines go for Hotel, I originally thought that maybe Gaga would be a lounge singer at the hotel, but that was just a quick thought. One major fan theory is that the series will follow the infamous serial killer HH Holmes, who had a “murder castle” AKA a hotel with a trapped maze for his victims. HH Holmes signature look was apparently complete with a top hat – something that has been seen throughout Freak Show – and Ryan Murphy has gone on the record to say that there were clues for Hotel hidden within last season. That’s it for now. Top hat was also a movie set in a hotel in 1950's hollywood and cheek to cheek from gagas newest album with tony bennett was made for the movie

The top hat was a clue to the season in the sense that the move Top Hat (1935)  was set in a hotel. And also a hint to Gaga since the track cheek to cheek which she recently did with Tony Bennett was original written for the movie Top Hat. I don't know if it has anything to do with the serial killer.
