Avocado Iced Coffee | Funky Fresh Food

I had an iced coffee in a cafe last summer, and instead of putting mystery thickening powder in (like most of the chain coffee shops do) they used avocado! It was delicious, so now the weather's starting to brighten up again in the UK, I thought it was about time to try this out for myself. I've come up with an incredibly simple recipe, that for me is the perfect balance of coffee, sweetness and creaminess. However, if you like your drinks on the sweeter side you might want to add some more sugar, honey or maple syrup. The key to this drink is a ripe avocado; if it's not ripe you'll end up with hard lumps instead of a delicious creaminess!

Ingredients (serves 4):
500ml coffee
300ml milk
2tbsp soft brown sugar
1 ripe avocado (120g)
12 ice cubes (350g)

You actually don't need sugar to make it taste good I had some this morning it was really good and it's a good alternative to bulletproof coffee it's stained bullet proof without having butter
