Finally! Claris Promises the Platform I Always Wanted!

Claris made an announcement this week that blew me away, and I am so happy about it! Learn about what was announced including a big name change from FileMaker Pro to Claris Pro along with a solid strategy to attract up-and-coming Claris FileMaker developers to the platform. Finally, we will have the platform developed in a relevant way for today’s expectations and positioned in the marketplace to win.

Marc and I talked about the new platform shortly after the announcement… I couldn’t agree more with his words… this IS the platform we’ve been requesting for a decade… making FREE single-user versions of Pro is a game changer for adoption! Way to go Claris!

Couldn't find anything about this on the Claris site. Did I miss something? Is it fake news? Is Forethought buying FileMaker back? Will I have to go back to using MultiPlan? Should I take my 4D Diskettes out of storage?

i have been positively surprised. finally claris/filemaker is changing their way. they almost moved a successful plattform into a deadend. i am looking forward to try it out.
