You can do this fault check with the board still in the console right? for convenience. So how do you check which board you've got as the south bridge is the only part exposed when you take the cover off?

You can easily solder all 3 wires next to each other. ❤️

A possible point that noone seems to have mentioned. Your black wire is connected to RTS on the uart board. I had mine connected to GND as i was comnecting it to ground! It didnt work so zoomed in to see that your black was connected to RTS and now works fine.
