IHHP Milyakburra - Alukwanja (Dance)

The Indigenous Hip Hop Crew returned to Milyakburra on Bickerton Island for a week of intensive dance workshops and all around fun.

The wet season didn't stop the action and when everyone was hot we retreated to the beautiful rockpools for a cool off. The Youth and community of Milyakburra responded with a fantastic energy and eagerness to learn their very own dance routine.

A big thank you to our friends at Milyakburra especially to traditional owners Morgan, Helen, Lucille and Lancen who also joined in on the action.

Also a major thanks to East Arnhem Regional Shire Youth Sport and Rec and to Bush Fit Mob for facilitating the week.
