Hi Ed! They all look so lovely since coming into the house. Those unmentionables were very mean to them. Glad they're doing and looking better! Thanks for the video! Miss Angie - USA

These orchids are growing so well for you! Well done! I, too, have mine growing indoors with a grow light on at night for them. Hope mine look as GREAT as yours do in a few months.

Wow, what a difference a change of scenery makes! Look at all the spikes and roots! I know in nature phals grow happily hanging on the side of trees but in homes, I find that they are meant to grow in pots in my very humble opinion. The MARS lights and heat are essential for these. I can tell you that mine will never look as great as yours because my home isn't that warm year round.
Didn't realize that schilleriana can spike anytime. I thought these were fall bloomers. But then again, it takes almost 3 months for the spikes to develop fully. Should be a nice fragrant show in a month or so. Slugs damaged the plants but nothing too tragic.
Your phals are all absolutely stunning. Looking forward to the updates.
Happy growing Ed and have a nice weekend 😊

Good morning Ed. Such a beautiful phaelenopsis collections. They are so lustrous green and healthy. I placed mine by the window and watch the temperature as you mentioned. Guess what, my Chang Maw Jade Wilson is now with new roots, spike and bloomssss. Thanh you Ed for sharing your words of wisdom (awaiting for Belina and others to bloom). Please take care and have a lovely weekend. Catherine.

Cannot wait to see the Timothy Christopher in bloom. I have a few with this in the parentage.I am going to my local orchid nursery and getting a Scilleriana. On yours the two on the outside are spikes and inside are roots. 😍You are going to have a great bloom show and smell in that space!

They all look great... thank you for giving an update on the phals! I'm beginning to believe that bellina, violacea, and their hybrids are the best windowsill orchids... culture, size, shape/color, and bloom frequency. However, I think that the leaves of schilleriana and philippinensis are the most attractive of all phals. Hope you have a nice evening!
