This video explores a hypothetical naval conflict between China and Japan, focusing on the strategic decisions, military assets, and alliances that could shape the outcome. With China seeking control over the Senkaku Islands and broader dominance in the Indo-Pacific, the scenario examines hour-by-hour developments, including surprise attacks, U.S. and South Korean involvement, and the potential for a large-scale war. Sorry but the idea of the entire 7th fleet sitting on its hands while a naval war is raging right outside the harbor is a ridiculous scenario. Even if they weren't involved from the start they would still likely get underway and be in a defensive posture. Also "China has a bigger navy" sounds like "more ships more better", China counts ever patrol vessel and craft they have, if you go by tonnage or VLS missile capacity they don't even come close to the US. guess i fell for the "engagement bait" ...

Japan is on record of saying “Japan is America’s largest unsinkable air craft carrier “. The US agrees. The ships shown here ignore American readiness capabilities.

The Chinese would never dare to do it. The Japanese are not small Filipino fishing boats that you can just push around. And most of the countries in the Indo-Pacific region will certainly support Japan as well...and the US, possibly even Nato, will certainly stand with Japan.

These videos are like verbal versions of a video game, with no real logic involved.

Let's all further help the Chinese out by reducing any Made-in-China purchases whenever humanly possible.

This is hilarious. The idea that the 7th Fleet isn’t prepared to repel a Chinese attack on Japan. What a bunch of clowns

One thing that would be important to note is that, this conflict would never only involve Japan and China as others would get involved due to already high constant regional tension.

Taiwan and Australia would also get involved when North and South Korea joins the fight.

There is not a single way the American ships will remain in port if China goes to warm with Japan...

Japan's Ministry of Defense, along with the UK and Italy, will combine the technologies of the three countries and share costs and risks to develop superior fighter aircraft that will ensure future air superiority.
Japan hopes that the EU, UK, Australia, New Zealand and other countries will support Japan.

This scenario is idiotic. The idea that the seventh fleet would just sit in Yokosuka harbor while this conflict is going on is ridiculous. The USS Ronald Reagan would be somewhere at CS state of maximum readiness. This channel has lost all credibility.

This video spoke a lot of bullshit. Japan didn't own Okinawa but just administrative right. The United Nation constitution clearly specified that Japan as a defeated country could be attacked if Japan tried to be hostile to the four UNSC permanent members.

Chinese ships defeating Japanese ships seems pretty laughable, to be honest.

This video ignored how Chinese personnel have 0 actual combat experience, it also forgot the that US Navy has the second largest Air Force.

This is why Japan, S. Korea, the Philippines, and Tawain need to form a Pacific Rim Alliance.

If that happened, you would most likely have the Philippines, Australia and India joining forces with Japan. Not just the US and South Korea. Europe would definitely not sit it out.

The biggest mistake of this video was forgetting the Aukus agreement made for this very purpose. China isn't really scared of any of us individually, although they should be considering how much of their tech is based on Russia's and how they've been doing against Ukraine. But a war against South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, or the Philippines will draw the others into battle. Taiwan and the Philippines are iffy but the U.S. would most definitely leverage everything they have to defend Japan or South Korea on day one. The entire point of having so many troops stationed in those countries is to have them forward positioned and ready for that very scenario. The moment the U.S. joins, so does the UK and Australia. The UK would struggle a bit to contribute but Australia would be key to overmatch capabilities. Plus a lot of people don't know this but their is a significant contingent of U.S. Marines positioned in Okinawa with LOTS of anti-ship missiles. They'd be sinking ships by the second day at the latest.

I usually try to take this channel seriously. This is NOT one of those times.

This video leaves out the big fact that Japan has successfully developed and tested ship mounted rail cannons as of November 2023. That means once deployed the direct fire and range capabilities of Japanese naval vessels will far outpace China. And the first move from the US would most likely be an Airforce deployment to defensively target Chinese naval vessels to buy time for the fleets to get into position. That response would be in a little under 72 after the US decides to aid Japan against China. So we would have a response underway in no more than four days time with the 7th fleet being in a defensive posture running anti aircraft and anti ballistic/cruise missile missions.
