What if they refused to leave? Were they planning to call the police?

This won't affect Starbucks. Everyone will forget in a week.

Maybe we should ask the question of why people are so uncomfortable around cops. I have PTSD over my poor treatment by police officers.

Excuse me, I just robbed a gas station and I don't feel comfortable with all these police around. Can you please ask them to leave?

The only reason Starbucks apologized is because they were called out .

If the customer didn't feel comfortable with police presence, he should have been the one that left. I don't care what color anyone is, that makes no difference. That employee wasn't very smart and should be looking for a new job.

Oh so when you don’t feel comfortable with someone’s presence, you can just walk up to the employee and ask to tell them to leave ?

I don't what the problem is. Arizona police openly discriminate but others can't against them?

Why was the customer uncomfortable? Why did the store staff think that it was a reasonable request? If it depends on this level of news "reporting", we will never know...

Apparently we live in Upside down world, maybe investigate the person who's uncomfortable with the officers in the room, obviously suspicious.

I don’t think Starbucks should make an apology. It should be that lady apologize to those officers. She only think about herself and that is selfish.

So the customer asked them to leave? Yet the staff are on the hook.

I think its valid to be afraid because you dont know whos good and whos not

The "customer" was uncomfortable with the cops being there because he/she's about to rob the place.

I would have walked out with them. If the police are not welcome then I will feel unsafe at that location. Anybody who feels unsafe around law enforcement is definitely hiding something illegal.

Criminals usually feel uncomfortable around the police. The customer probably has outstanding warrants.

Generalizing a group of people based on the actions of a minority of that group of people... Why does this toxic logic seem so familiar? Hmm...
