So fun! My mum is a tailor and I always had so much fun watching her work. That being said, I have no idea how to actually do anything similar myself. Maybe the holidays coming up are a good time to pick up some skills!

Pro-tip: if you cut using the whole blade of the scissors (long strokes) your pieces will come out with smoother edges than if you make lots of tiny snips using shorter strokes :)!

You should do this with someone Persian. In the old days, the last name was the occupation that they had. My last name is Javaheri which translates to jeweler. This doesn’t go for all Persian last names but for some they do.
