We wander our way up the coast trying to avoid the swarms of tourists and RV's all while taking in the beauty. We manage to find some lesser visited attractions like the Tillamook Air Museum, eat lots of delicious fish and chips and even find a killer camp site.

A blimp hanger, here in Mass. we had two at The South Weymouth Naval Air Station as a kid (I'm 73) I can remember seeing the blimps flying. The hanger are gone as well as the Air Station. I did get to go in the hangers with the boy I was up there in 2018 big difference from the east coast where I live! Stay safe and have fun!!!

There were 3 or 4 of those big hangers on that site. They were kit buildings and were assembled in a few weeks. I haven't been there for a but they used to have a lot of old aircraft.

The berries you mention around 5:40 are salal berries and are edible but a little pithy. The indigenous peoples used them in pemmican, currently the branches are picked to send back east for flower arrangements in the winter

Looks like you had the same luck with weather as we did in La Push lol

I think the bridge between Portland and Washington is called Astoria- I think. Love doing that backroad scenic drive instead of the I-5. 👍 enjoyed the video. 🥂

Over 300 videos… wow! This PNW region (and conversely the north east of the US) really appeal. Seems like a slower, more ‘real’ area. Also very different to what we’re used to. Although maybe it’s just about the fish & chips 😁

The Fish & Chips looked good...
Ugh! Now I’m really hungry.

Socks and sandals! Am I old if I always wear socks with my keens? Don’t answer that! I am digging the new video style! It’s nice to see some more of you two and get a sense of your personalities. But, you’re missing something: the requisite coffee grind/perk/pour. Don’t all overlanders do that? 🤓

With only the windows and no exhaust fan, do you have any issues with odors cooking inside the truck?
