After graduation from college my wife and I moved six states away so that I could do masters study at another university. The whole time we lived there I had people coming up to me, at least once or twice a month, talking to me as if they knew me. They were shocked when I told them my name, and even had to show some my ID as they thought I was their friend just messing around with them. They said even the sound of my voice and accent were the same. I never did get to meet my doppelganger there.
