Roughly 15 million people are displaced every year by climate and weather related disasters. This year much of that displacement will take place against the backdrop of a pandemic. This talk explores how the coronavirus pandemic collides with current patterns of climate-linked migration and displacement, and what this new situation means for the people most at risk. The session will explore locations that are particularly at risk, and examine the contexts in which these global crises coverage.

All these people rabbiting on as self appointed experts. Forget all this shit and concentrate on the real issue and everything else will fall into place. The real issue is population. There are now three times as many people on this planet as there were 70 years ago. We are marching rapidly towards armageddon. It may be that things are going on secretly, but from what I can see is loads of people full of their own importance busily sticking plasters over big problems but ignoring the major one. We must address this problem without delay. China did address this problem but a lot of experts say it was not a success. Well let me tell you it was a success in the long term. They were reducing the future number of breeding females in the long term. My advice is throw away the blinkers and take a broad view of what will happen in the future if we do not act now

Interesting video and concepts... Climate change does create a higher level of forced migration worldwide. At present, evidence of temporary displacement due to Covid-19 has emerged in some developing countries...
