Bohemian Rhapsody - Alternate Ballad Only Edit (2018)

When it came to the decision to release the full 6-minute version of Bohemian Rhapsody, the record company (EMI) was reluctant to back it. EMI believed such a lengthy track wasn't radio-friendly and its length would be detrimental to its marketability. EMI suggested that the band trim the track down, presumably to the ballad parts only. Freddie and the band staunchly defended BR in its full length. Ultimately, the band prevailed. It soon turned out that EMI's concerns about BR's length were misplaced as it went on to become one of the greatest hits of all time.

This video is a personal edit of the BR multi track files to produce the shorter ballad-only version that EMI probably would have approved of.
