ABOUT LUDICROUS FEED

Ludicrous Feed is a Sydney-based YouTube channel showing daily life as an Australian family with an electric vehicle. Tom provides straightforward candid insights into key issues around EV adoption such as vehicle range, charging infrastructure and road trip planning.

The channel started in 2018 after Tom purchased his Tesla Model S. The weekly live stream provides an opportunity for audience members to engage with others from the EV community as well as to stay up to date with the latest industry news. Tom also has a Tesla Powerwall 2 coupled with rooftop solar and has reviewed many other electric vehicles for the channel including brands such as BYD, Geely (Polestar, Volvo, Zeekr, Smart), Hyundai Motor Group (Hyundai, Kia, Genesis), SAIC (MG, LDV), GWM, Stellantis (Peugeot, Fiat, Abarth, Jeep), VW Group (Cupra, Skoda), BMW Group (Rolls Royce, Mini), GM (Cadillac), Ford, Toyota, Subaru, Nissan, Renault, Xpeng, Chery and Deepal.

Great commentary on charging. I live in the inner north in Melbourne and it is an absolute charging blackhole (combined with lack of off-street parking). The local councils seems to be very, very slow.

I used a Tesla Supercharger with my BYD Dolphin unmodified three weeks age! I bought in April 2024! Worked well!

Riz, can we start a graph of dc chargers per registered ev.. Suspect that metric is heading in the wrong direction (especially in vic). Comparing to overseas markets would be very interesting/worrying as well. Could be a call to action at your charging expo. Show companies the upside opportunity that’s coming if the graph is going the wrong way. Thanks

Those byd service costs are nothing compared to a new petrol engine

Tesla insurance not that good at all quoted me a extra 700 a year. Not a real Tesla insurance more like a Zurich insurance. Done via the website.
