I know it's not so popular but I love the Lost Children Chapter of the Conviction Arc. It's the perfect start of the transition from Edgelord Guts to just Guts. He is still edgy but mellows through his interactions with Jill. That's SO GOOD

Guts' smile is brighter than a thousand suns combined. There are some dark mangas out there but Berserk is one of the few that when happy moments happen, no matter how small they are, it matters, and they're not shutdown immediately either.
