For those who are wondering why portal 2 maps are THAT broken:
Portal 2 works on completely different version of source than gmod, main problems is: portal 2 using source2-like lighting that gmod can't handle so big amount of these lights will crash it(99% of maps)
Also portal 2 source core is just changed, that's why things like gels from portal 2 cannot be ported to gmod without modifying the core engine.
And of course many other problems happens so it all snowballed in complete destruction of portal 2 compability with gmod.
Portal 2 doesn't even has it's own tab in spawn menu lol.
