Is anyone going to acknowledge how insanely brave it is for these people to give up their right to anonymity for the purpose of helping others 👌👌

The redhead girl in recovery in the beginning that goes around helping people, giving them food/water, hugs, advice, etc. is really inspring. She has no obligation to do it, but she knows how the addict and homeless life is and is just trying to brighten someone's day and give them a little hope. I really like how she isn't forcing anyone to go get help or telling them how bad their lives are... they already know they need help and that their lives suck. She understands that you can't force someone to get clean, they have to want it on their own. The greatest thing she is offering is compassion, love, and HOPE.

I wish all artists that make it big would do these kind of documentaries to help others!!! Macklemore you are an amazing man!

Only 32K views? It's a well made documentary. For me, the take away was President Obama's personal commentary. For the President to take ownership of his own personal experience, now that deserves huge props. I respect honesty. I also find it refreshing that MTV has chosen to remind patients that they must act responsibly in asking for opioids. Honesty and personal responsibility, kudos to the MTV team!

Suboxonne, meditation and time. These are what helped keep me away from painkillers for the past 3+ years. Macklemore is a true rock star.

In a tragic turn of events, Alaina succumbed to her addiction a few days ago. She was a fighter, but her demons were too much for her gentle and fragile soul. RIP Alaina Michelle....forever in my thoughts...

oh man. Oh man I know EXACTLY what she went through. Taking an anti-opioid med after using throws you into the worst withdrawal that cannot be described. Hell on earth. A ride you wish you could get off immediately. Fkn hell, bad memories.

Ben Haggerty is the most moving person ive ever seen and I hope all of those people continue to get the help they need. I absolutely love ben and I dont think he should ever change. His new song is moving. Who ever disliked this needs to rethink their like to be completely honest. #DrugDealer

Alainas mom came and talked to a group today. It’s so heavy, her mom is an advocate for getting help now and she’s doing honor to her daughters memory. ❤️

9 months of sobriety here!!! it's possible to get back up and keep fighting. just have faith. those who leave things in God's hands start to see God's hands in everything they keep.

I commend Macklemore, his impact is far-reaching as a musician. my son was at a couple of meetings that he attended and I know that his presence there and his willingness for recovery had a long-term effect on my son. my son still struggles with addiction although he has more clean days than not
