???how about follicular adenoma with papillary features! Are you saying nuclear features does not override papillary architecture in PTC?

Papillae in the thyroid is just malignancy.  The thyroid gland often is implicated in much pathology like gigantism and it is usually a tumor of malignant growth.  I would suspect most tumors are not primary but metastatic in origin as with papillary carcinoma with samonas or glandular structures.

Thanks for the video! I'm kind of frustrated though - looking everywhere for this, but can't seem to figure out what cell is actually the neoplastic cell in Papillary vs. Follicular Thyroid CA??

Thank you for your videos,
I thought for it to be papillary, it has to have a 'finger-like' structure, the glands look more acinic than fingerlike, esp at 3:09. Please correct me if I am wrong

Hi Doc; I just want you to look at my posted RAI scan for teaching purposes with your students if you teach. I don't need you to comment. I will come back, however and tell you how it turned out. Biopsy to follow.

Thank you very much for all your videos! You mentioned in this once that if we can identify a papillary structure, then we are sure it is a carcinoma. Wouldn't we need nuclear characteristics to distinct it from papillary thyroid hyperplasia? Again thank you very much
