Lol are you serious? People commenting "is it better than the Apple TV?" after moaning about how the Verge mentions Apple too much? Make up your mind. This is why they mention other products in product reviews, for comparison.

Yeah like they should have done exactly what amazon did, and put the Snapdragon 800 and the adrenal 330 GPU into the Nexus player. That would have gave it the power that it needed to run everything very smooth as well as smooth gameplay. Which is currently struggles at. And the Snapdragon 800 processor doesn't really cost that much money anymore. It could have been done for pretty damn cheap. Amazon does it for the exact same price. It almost makes me want to buy an Amazon fire TV, and just hack Android TV on to it.
