This video show the use of the MTEXT editor in AutoCAD. The MTEXT editor can be used for creating, formatting and editing text in either model space or in a layout. This demonstration includes starting the MTEXT editior, entering MTEXT, editing MTEXT, adding symbols, using the AutoStack function for fractions, creating lists, inserting fields that will auto-fill and accessing the shortcut menu for text by right clicking the mouse.

Question: Do you know if text (like Job Name, Address1, 2...) be inserted into a CAD file via a script import (*.scr) & then xref into a production file?

Set tabs, indents, etc.? I can't find any information on those things that is clear.

auto cad 2009, but the date is 2006??? :P
