I saw this guy with Ivan Lins, Michael Brecker, Cesar Mariano, and other artsits in a concert back in 1996, when I was 15 years old. He was one of the first non-brazilians to really dominate the samba groove. F*cking amazing!

How do i find music with drumming like this? every time i search samba music on spotify i can find anything that has a standard drum kit, it all sounds like percussion. I like your style Mark and i'm hoping to find music that has your style of playing on the drums in high quality recordings as i'm an audiophile.
