That's scary for a parent and child too. There's a another story like this today where a 2 years old walked out of daycare and into busy traffic.

There is no excuse for this at All! A two year old child. Anything could have happened to this innocent baby. They should be shut down immediately! IMMEDIATELY! THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THIS IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOR .

I'm so sorry this happened to your daughter, I am 51 yrs old, I remember this being done to me. I was afraid of the dark till I reached my 30s. Shame on them.🥺😤

Even if the mother was a repeat offender picking up the child late, that baby didn't deserve that. She looks shocked and scared. It is pure evil to do that why turn off the lights with a child in there? The front room has a light on and the room where the child is has lights off. It was intentional. She could have been seriously injured whilst wandering in the dark. There must be serious actions that's child endangerment and their safety protocols are questionable. Surely there must be a signing out register for parents to sign when parents collect their kids, if not then that's very worrying. They must have known one child was unaccounted for it's just negligent.

Doesn’t even matter if the mom got a warning or not .. I don’t care if the mom is 1 hour late you don’t just leave a baby and go home !!

But if a parent leaves a child in a car they get charged with child abuse.

I'm not even a mom yet, and I'm keeping my eyes peeled for places like this. Oh my god! Poor baby! And her mama, so distressing to here her cry for her child. She wasn't even that late and nobody thought to even call or check to see if the place was empty? What world are these people living in?

I can’t believe this happened again!!! This happened one time before at a different daycare different city but last time it was a baby not old enough to walk and dad could here his baby in there crying and the fire department had to come and break down the door and there she was crawling and crying in the dark!!! Sooo sad and unacceptable, and now this incident with this little girl, absolutely unacceptable!!! She must’ve been so scared, I would’ve been!!!

Very negligent on the part of the daycare. They're lucky nothing happened to the girl. Otherwise, the daycare would immediately be closed permanently and someone would likely go to jail.

Who got fired and charged for this? I hope the mother sues and that daycare gets closed down. They obviously do not know how to take care of children. This was negligence to the highest degree!

Lawsuit should follow the arrest of the people in charge of the facility.

This is completely inexcusable. It is the responsibilities of the teachers and management team to always know where children are at all times. How could the teachers caring for this little girl possibly not have seen she was still in the classroom? Did they leave her in that room by herself or just assume she’d already been checked out???Crazy!!! The directors should always know if there are still children in the building before they lock those doors, it’s common sense. Especially with all the fancy technological check-in/check-out systems we have now, it’s super easy to check kids in and out of a facility. I’m a teacher myself and know that we always need to constantly make sure are top of making sure all our kids are present & accounted for. We are responsible for other people’s children who are entrusting us to care for the most important people of their lives. Hope this little girl and her mother will be okay psychologically after this. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
