Thanks for the video Joe. The PS22-IF looks like an awesome lite weight setup for fishing on foot when every pound counts.

I'm likely one of the few guys watching this that can afford FFS. But I choose not too. It's way over the top. I believe it transforms ICE Fishing into something else entirely. REF Crappies. They move a lot. So once I find one - I'll drill several holes in the general area and jump around. It's work. But it's ice fishing. ps... Joe Holland is a beast... Great videos.

This was the exact video that put me in decision that this is the thing I want to try out! Got one from happy angler store. Let's see what performance it will show in Latvia and Estonia during 24/25 ice fishing season😅
Thank You! Waiting for more!

All you need is 6 grand for livescope and hole hopper. Used to be 400 for a flasher and some proper technique, an ice blue and some jigs. Now that is still fun. My 80 year old dad said fish know how to swim. Keep chasing them with more money!

I am very new to the live imaging market. I have one of these ps22 units ordered. Do you think it will be good enough to pan around and hole hop? I’m a big hole hopping guy. Thanks for your time.

This all reminds me of a old Hummingbird ssetup that would do down and forward scanning all at the same time.

I think you got the first video out using it on the ice, heck yeah! Appreciate the insights and footage! When you get a chance can you weigh it? I'd love to know the exact weight, for some reason I have been under the impression it is somewhere between 12-14 lbs.

I wonder, Would it pay to have a matching lure with no hook hanging on a stick in a hole next to you to keep the fish around?

I understand when you say you don’t want to bring your very large unit there and scare them. I get it.

I'm a Garmin guy but lowrance's new eagle eye 9 will be a better buy for anyone looking at a sub $1500 ice unit. Not having to adjust the transducer every time you want to switch orientation from forward to down is extremely convenient. Why Garmin ditched the LVS 12 transducer instead of improving on it is a missed opportunity IMO.

put your livescope on a sled and drag around to hole hop no need for a second unit

Made my own pole for my lvs34. 18" when compacted and will do up to 2 foot of ice. Sits to side of the hole so isn't in the way. Total cost less than 50.

when u get on crappie like that its insane. i like to see how far up theyll come and get it...theyll come all the way up to the top to get it when theyre aggressive.

Yeah....for another $2K, I can carry my portable live scope a very very long ways! They say another one's born every 10

Should I upgrade my lvs32 to the lvs34 or should I buy this? The PS-22 is $1099 and the LVS34 is $1200.

I will give up a little technology for no pole. The regular panoptix is still very great tool for catching fish. I hate that pole it really sucks imo

Noticed that cord looks short, or is it longer and adjustable so you can use it with thicker ice ?

A simple upgraded shuttle is all they needed to clamp the pole on as you hole hop, end of the day your dragging around an older outdated unit, I’d rather run my 34 and see clearer, less interference, and actual be able to spot fish on bottom
