Thankfully I grew up on a Waveboard, so I have literally no issues with stability :D
I just got mine today, and didn't bought it bc of this video. Just to let yall know.
I took it for a 6km spin right outta the box.
I'll give you MY personal pros & cons, if you're interested.

Pros:
- I live in Hungary, and the roads are shit, so the suspension is quite nice and more than capable of overcoming everyday pot holes and bumps, even in Hungary.
- The pad (where you stand on) is not solid plastic, but a healthy layer of a silicone-like material. It collects dust off your shoes like nobody's business, but you won't slip off of it, that's a promise!
- Handle is wide with great stability, and thanks to the turn signals you don't have to hold the handle with just one arm anymore! (My previous roller had no turn signals and became EXTREMELY unstable with just 1 hand on the handle bar)
- Long distance, especially for this price
- Good water and dust resistance.
- Top speed is, even with bad roads is more than enough to get you to your destination in no time! Sometimes it's even faster to get from A to B with this than with a car :D

Cons:
- During and after Heavy bumps and holes you'll notice a lil metalic ringing. That's just the folding strap hitting against one of the screws. (I shat myself when I heard it the first time)
- The handle has 5 screws, which if you don't screw in in the correct order they won't fit. It's just a time thing, I got mine perfectly together after 15mins of screwing, but still.
- I have extremely sweaty hands. Even with the wind at 40km/h your hands will sweat no matter the temperature, cuz the handle is made up of another type of silicone based material, which reflects and retains the heat from your hands quite a bit.

Ohh, and just for a lil side note, I found the platform where you stand to be an actually decent size for me, and I have quite a large feet. 45-47 (10.5-13 in UK) (29cm-30cm) in EU size, dependin on the shoe brand. My biggest shoe ever was a size 49 (15 UK) (31.5cm) :'D

Right outta the gate, I would 100% recommend it to a friend. I am extremely pleased with what I got for the money I paid.

Update:
I have, in this hour right after I left this comment, have put another 11km into this beast, now sitting at 17km total distance.
So a lil update:

It rides even smoother than I've imagined. I really put her to the test, even turning the cruise mode on (which you can do by holding the, ,mode" button) and I was going with nothing but the top speed, all the way through. What I've noticed is, your leg that is resting on the slightly elevated platform will either cramp up or get tired. The solution I found was to switch legs out for a short period of time, or where's less danger to be concerned about, like barely any trafic or an open bike lane away from the main street, is to just lift it up for a bit or relax it, putting no weight on it for a short period of time.

The break length is a bit long, but we're talking about wheels 25cm in diameter going 40-50km/h, so that's to be expected.
MY weight is around 85kg, and I am 178cm tall, but after charging it bout' half way I can probably guess, that if you're going at max speed the entire ride, and ur similarly build to me, you could expect at least around 25-30km distance with a fully charged battery.

Ohh, another thing. The rear turn signals on the 2024 version (yes, I have an outdated version, boo me.) are not the most appealing or visible lights, since they are relatively low to the ground and blink in the same red color as the break lights, or just the rear lights in general.

That's about it, good night ^^
Would still recommend tho.

Hi Glen, great videos, very insightful! Am an Ozzie living in Athens Greece. First of all, congratulations for your YouTube channel, your reviews are very helpful. Have already liked and subscribed. After watching your videos multiple times have decided to purchase a G2. Am moving up from a Xiaomi350W with no suspension. Mainly ride on very dangerous uneven sidewalks and roads. The Xiaomi has tried to kill me many times, and is not suitable for the environment I ride in. I am a big guy at 95kgs, and 185cm. I’m not looking for super high speeds or recreational use. Need to be able to do about 20-30 km range per day, with the ability to get it on and off trams, the subway, and the odd bus here and there. I figured it’s light weight, dual suspension, 10 inch wheels with 800W would be a significant upgrade without taking too big a step. Am a little worried about the following, , ,
Is it too small for me? (Handle bar height)
Will the motor die on slight inclines?
If the battery needs Charging through the day, will an hour or two of charge time give sufficient battery life to give it another 10-15 km of range? Would appreciate your opinion on any of the above points. Thanks 🙏

G2 or g2 pro which is more reliable? About both scooters, reviews are rlly mixed, some people arent satisfied at all, others think its amazing, what do you think? For me reliability is quiet important, so that might be the deciding factor.

Ive got the G4 and the steering was stiff so i backed off the presure on the tapered bearings and now its as smooth as butter, just wanted you to know the centering notch your talking about is not built in, these use tapered bearings and there too tight, center notch on a motorcycle is worn head set bearings, if you have ever rode a motorbike with a center notch you will find it difficult to steer strait. My issue and i dont know if its just the inherent suspension design or the rake angle etc but when your moving at 10-40 kph and give the steering a small shake it feels like the front is very unstable so can you go for a ride and shake the steering and see how it feels... Great vids and content :)

Hello, thank you for your reviews i have watched both your reviews of g2 pro and also this g2 review but now i am wondering what is the better choice, I wanna buy one of them, which one would you recommend? is the g2 better because the g2 pro gives little wobbling in high speed and its motor is a bit weak?

I found a short front mudguard for an MTB, cut it off and attached it. A few minutes, easy job.

Hi. This model does not allow you to adjust the steering wheel. What is the ideal height of the person to be used comfortably? Can it be comfortable for people who are 1.85m tall?

I am really considering buying the G2, but is there any way to lock it so that you need to enter a code or sum before riding it.
