Honorable minister simply believed he could talk himself out of the questions thrown at him. What a keneri bird’s chorus. Talk-active profs.

" You can never have a good journey with a bad car" The minister might be enthusiastic, but institutions has to be fixed. The corruption is overwhelming.

Simplify the process. Jettison the old colonial template for industrial development. Look inward to build local capacity.

Dear Minister
The companies that left Nigeria left because of the bad policies of this government. You have to fix infrastructure, corruption, the institutions, etc. The blatant disregard of the constitution by all arms of government, especially the executive, and the audacious miscarriage of justice by the judiciary, means showing that no serious company will gamble with shareholders money.

Industrial Revolution is far over and we have moved into the internet revolution and now AI revolution.
Nigeria is just planning Industrial Revolution.

FYI, all the other revolutions coming will need the success of prior revolutions to achieve them.
We missed the Industrial Revolution (better still, we failed to sustain our revolution) which is the base component of the internet and now AI era. AI uses 10 times more electricity. We don’t even have enough for basic manufacturing. Where bread bakers are using generator and burning diesel.
So, what is the future of Nigeria in global competition. Bleak, in my opinion.

How many industrial parks have you built? There is no single industrial park in Nigeria, and you are talking about industrialisation. Without the proliferation of industrial parks and machine tooling engineers, we are only daydreaming. The characteristics of industrial properties are high eaves and easy access to motorways because they handle bulky goods.

It is regrettable that upon hearing the Minister, one may infer that there will simply be a continuation of the status quo. I discern no tangible plans stemming from his discourse apart from the repetitive rhetoric. What measures are being taken to facilitate industrialization in Nigeria? From his perspective, it appears, none.

Hocus-pocus. Nonsense! Questions asked questions not answered, yet you progress to the next question. Stop boring us with this sham journalism. Every one is getting away with mediocrity. Press the man to stay on issue and substantiate it. Good grammar does not translate to good idea which the system sorely lacks. All of his stories, which one has he implemented as a minister? Give examples. Can we see those actions on the ground? Bla bla bla.
