I've sampled several of these but my picks were Ambra Aura by Profumum Roma - I am in love with the salty musky opening (real ambergirs) and the smoky spicy drydown. It feels both timeless and ancient and Amber Kiso - which has a really nice smoke wood and leather combo that's very masculine and powerful to me. Both only hint at sweetness as well, which I prefer. They might be more suited to winter than fall though, but here in Canada fall gets cold fast.

Yes! Carner Barcelona is one of my favorite Houses, love Ambar del Sur and also El Born Licorice Bomb! Ambre Sultan Intoxicating! Need to try Caftan, but I'm more interested in trying Babycat first, also Benjoin Boheme. Thanks for the list Sebastian!!!

Grand soir is my favorite, I have literally walked in a room and at least four women came to me at the exact same time and asked me what was I wearing. I have literally gotten over 50 comments on that particular fragrance.

I got a sample of Grand Soir yesterday and when I first sprayed it on a strip I was thinking someone fooled me and put Rochas Moustache edp in there, but I guess it reminds me of it somehow. I will definitely test it out on the skin. Do you find any similarities? Or this is my imagination/ association with something that is not there? 😊

Love Tolu and Ormonde Elixir. She makes such romantic fragrances. Romantic in the traditional sense. Caftan is also great.

Kalemat by Arabian Oud will always be a favourite. Ambra Nera by Ortigia Sicilia is a really unique amber. One on my to-try list is Gallivant Istanbul. Also anticipating the re-release of Gaultier2.
