Made me feel all fuzzy and warm inside. Not everything is money. Some things are more important than money. Helping people out pays off in the long run.

As a cancer survivor I'm pretty sure I would take that order with a smile on my face

Always give a Karma Delivery at least 3 or 5 times a week

Of course I would deliver that. That person wants to stay with their child. They truly need and appreciate your help and It is a joy and a pleasure to help them

The best part of life is loving and helping each other. Money doesn't buy joy.

100% YES! You know this is the side of what we do that makes us happy and good about ourselves. Yes, some customers do not appreciate and don’t need food to be taken to them (they are just lazy and pay us to take it to them) BUT there is a % of customers that appreciate, really need the service and really deserve us to be human more than delivery machines. Pedro, you have a really kind heart. ❤

Ones work isn’t just about making money. Helping a person in need makes working meaningful.

All day long! Why? We've been there...in that spot. My wife had cancer and there were days that having decent meal delivered was the highlight of the day. So because we've "walked in their shoes" I wouldn't think twice about it.

Do it, not that bad of pay n circumstances makes it easier

It's not always about rushing to the next order. We have to keep in mind at times that this could determine if they will be a repeat customer and possibly give a bigger tip next time. In a way, we are in the customer service industry, not just a delivery driver.

I would do it. I would hope that they're telling the truth about something so serious and if it will help them then I would be willing to spend the time 🙏🏾❤️

I honestly can’t say, I don’t generally do charitable things while working, I’m usually about the bottom line, but I have made a few exceptions

Drop it. I do Charity in my spare time. I deliver for money.

I've delivered to someone who told me that had COVID. For me, it's simple, I accepted the delivery, doesn't matter how long it takes, I'm going to finish it.

My local hospitals don’t allow food / doordash delivery in to wonder to deliver to a room. You have to leave it with security guards .

I would 100% do it. Even if it would take extra time.

Yes! My sister just died of cancer & she depended on deliveries for food & medicine. I would be happy to do these! Good job!

I delivered to a hospital room in the pediatrics area. I told the nurse and she knocks on the room and then tells me I can go on in. It was so awkward but they gave me an extra 5 dollar cash tip.

I deff would have done it same as u did big Dawg ....one of the reasons I wish Instacart had an info sheet for the customer to let me know if that customer is on fixed income...I can see why they couldn't afford a tip and it would give the shopper a chance to decide if they want to do a good deed or not
