I started my first graduate job as a software engineer. Through that experience, I was introduced to the universe of DevOps and upskilled heavily in the Microsoft tech stack (Azure, Azure DevOps, dotNet) and Agile methodology. I'm now super passionate about DevOps and automation and all the platforms and tools that achieve high software delivery performance! Thank you for your videos Nana

DevOps is just for people who really loves the DevOps career. I was a Devops Engineer in the past, since DevOps is not directy focused on software development, every day I was getting overwhelmed, so one day I said: DevOps is not for me. I'm not saying that it's a bad career, I'm just saying that DevOps is not for everyone. Thanks for this video, Nana and greetings from México.

All your technical videos are amazing, but this kind of videos about your experience on the road to DevOps like the "How I learn new technologies as a DevOps Engineer" are great to don't be frustrated on this road. Particularly in my case I was also a software developer but enjoy more to improve the software development process, than the development software itself.

All your videos have sped up my road a lot on this and I want to thank you for your great work.

That video I have been looking for for a long time. I'm often asked in the job interviews how it happened that I switched from mobile development to DevOps because the set of tasks is more diverse and I really like to optimize processes.

Devops might look interesting superficially. But it takes lot of time. No doubt it will fetch You bigger salary package, but you end up having no personal time and all the times you are stuck with infrastructure building only, specially in the times where agile is followed. Sometimes late night task also come up.

Thank you Nana for your videos. I am a system administrator and am transitioning to the DevOps. As I am tired of routine work and want something new where I can train my brain and have satisfaction doing things that help other people.

Just wanna say how much I appreciate the parity deal you have on the course. It's rare to see people being aware that a price in US dollars can be unrealistic to other countries.

Hey Nana, yet another devops here. i really love that i can continuously learn new stuff, and optimize processes both for speed but mainly quality and security. this really improves QOL for all colleagues which is my main motivation. yet sometimes i wonder, am i actually productive for the company? i think it is just really hard to grasp the long term impact of a speed improvement, even harder for quality and more so for security.

Great description of DevOps life Nana, well done! I noticed that the audio quality in this video is much better than usual. Usually when you speak, there is a lot of reverb, but not in this video. It’s much easier to listen to!

It's fascinating to see both the larger DevOps tools as well as the more niche sets of tool - such as those developed for Salesforce.

The first thing that flashed to me was your t-shirt, but l’amour c’est pour les DevOps tools, for a second I dared to think otherwise, heartbreaker !

3:04 She said it up ! Just what i wanted to confirm myselves .I knew this for long that DevOps is just another SDLC like Waterfall or Agile .People keep professing DevOps as some ideology or a set of principles making it sound complex and almost un understandable. As such she herself started her career as DevOps engineer since she was dealing with Operations aspect of it down there hood.
