So many words to say so little. His interview sounds like it's AI generated.

Interviewer: But how good are these AI models at generation really?
Interviewee: I am AI generated

A freaking advertisment, not an interview

6:14 “simulate the Earth”😅 I wish he would followed up and asked more about that statement.

Crazy and exciting times that we’re living in… Claude 3 is already mind-blowing...

Let's play Tech Bullshit Bingo! "User Experience", "Partner", "Collaborating", "Private and Secure", "Optionality".... Bullshit!

Interacting with Claude is interesting, it doesnt pass the Turing test and it does make mistakes but😁unlike some people it acknowledges and corrects its mistakes.

This is a good interview with Matt Wood. I always wonder how cloud providers like AWS feel about Nvidia's dominance in chips used for AI. It would seem that what he refers to as optionality is essential. As much as people involved in developing and deploying AI models love Nvidia chips, it's only sensible to have at least a few other options just in case. Having a leading AI company like Anthropic use your in-house chips probably yields valuable insights in terms of design and performance. As for the investment itself, only time will tell, but (based on how things stand now) I think it's a savvy move. Cloud providers benefit from providing enterprise customers with artificial intelligence capabilities; and it's a reasonable guess that the more advanced these models become, the more compute intensive they'll tend to be, which is right in the wheelhouse of firms like AWS.

Foundation models? Can we stick to one name? Llm, generative ai, which one is it?

It is really crazy that billions of dollars are allocated to current AI technology that rely on hugely energy inefficient silicon transistor technology.

As a 1st step, there should first be much, much more funding allocated to scale-up spintronics Non-Volatile-Memory (NVM) MRAM to High-Volume-Manufacturing (HVM).

This would help kickstart the transition to beyond CMOS spintronics technologies like MRAM (SOT-MRAM), Intel MESO concept, … that are key enabler to signicantly reduce (>100x) digital logic and AI power consumption.

his eyes are not moving. he is looking at that camera all the time. just tell me... when you have a zoom meeting you are looking at your laptop's camera all the time? we usually look at the other person on the screen

I usually look up your videos for updates! Our government has no idea how people are suffering these days. I feel for people with disabilities not getting the help they deserve. Thank you mrs juana Ambrose, imagine investing $12, 000 and received $305, 500.
