I am loving the features of the Asus Zenbook Pro 16X OLED. It has everything you need as a digital artist, photographer, graphic designer, and 4k video editor. If you're going to be looking to edit a lot of 6k video editing, heavy motion graphics, or 3D modeling you may want to avoid the Zenbook Pro 16X. This laptop has all the specs I wanted, even though the price was a little high, but your enthusiasm sold me on it.
I finally saw it in person and the very wiggly monitor ruined it for me. It's attached to the angled hinge and not the base.
Totally ruins the touch experience, which I use a lot. It takes 2-3 seconds to stop moving whenever you tap on it.

Hi Ben! Is it possible that you review the Flow X16? with miniled and Ryzen 9, upgradable SSD, Ram and even eGPU... this one was released at almost the same time with this zenbook. Plus wide colour coverage and accuracy, the flow model seems to be the ultimate portable device for creators. just wonder how you may think of it. Thank you!

Hey, I love your vids and im getting into editing on ae, I have just gotten the acer aspire 5 8gb ram and 512gb storage. I was using adobe after effects it it has been very laggy, I have looked at some videos to fix the lag but none of them work. Is ae lagging because I don't have enough ram or is it just a cheap bad laptop? (I bought it off Harvey Norman and it was about $898 Australian dollars and it was on clearance) Please let me know if I should look at buying a different laptop or upgrading the one I have.

I'm not a complainer but took u long enough 😂😂 jk. Been looking everyday for this post lol. I have the higher model but still was very interested to see everything with your opinion. Honestly, the only thing for me to have made this perfect is
1.) 120hz screen (which Asus does have the same screen but in 120 so idk why they didn't put it in here) seriously Asus give it 120 next time!
2.) upgradable ram. I got 32 but still I'd like 64.. Make it all upgradable it's an expensive laptop at 3, 000.00 almost. give us the options.
3.) my boy is right next time PLEASE offer higher than a 3060. At least the 3070..

For me this laptop is perfect for content creation plus some light gaming and big love to Asus for giving it rgb PLUS white back lighting keyboard which wasn't mentioned here. I know it's just colors but it really nice to just have it.

Seriously Asus you have almost the perfect laptop. If you make these adjustments you will have an absolute monster that no one else at the moment can touch. It's nearly perfect ❤️

* side note for anyone reading I love watching movies on this the sound is loud ASF imo. sweet job on that asus. There is a lot of us who do content and game a bit, seriously great job Asus, you have an opportunity to really slap all ur competition in the face with its next update*

Ben G, through your affiliate link, this model is same price as base model StudioBook 16X OLED. Spec difference is mostly Zenbook Pro 16Gb vs StudioBook Pro 32Gb of memory. Is the StudioBook performance pickup of 32Gb of memory worth it vs the features/functions of the ZenBook Pro. This is my max budget of $2, 100. Alternative is VivoBook Pro 16X, but seems constrained by 3050ti GPU... unless your testing has shown otherwise. Help!

VECTOR WORKS, STAAD, LUMION, SKETCHUP, SOLID WORKS, VRAY, MAX, MAYA, SAP 2000.
some times last gen 11800H cpu With 3070 maybe faster for many CAD than 12thgen 12700H 3060.Also AMD maybe faster than Nvidia in some apps.

What about the OLED burn-in? And colour accuracy at lower light? Others say, OLED displays are not colour reliable at lower lights and the display has a very short lifespan.
