Yes, I agree...they can be tricky! To my mind it's best to learn them in context.
Here we go....In the morning I walk through a park to go to work. I find walking among the trees and shrubs quite relaxing before starting work. But today I'm working from home... today I'm at home all day.

I live In Spain. I don't like to depend on anybody. At times I feel at sea with some prepositions, but just like phrasal verbs, I love them! In my language we might use just the same preposition
while in English we need three in different contexts. Thanks for the way you teach.

My opinion, the key problem of using prepositions isn't different meanings of a preposition - the same way we all use it in our mother languages - but the differences of using "analogs" in the same situation. I mean, e. g., in Russian we use "в"(often is an analog of "in") in the most caces, including city or country names, some place such home and etc., but in English there is also "at" (at home). Or in Italian there is a pair "in (for countries) /a (for cities and towns). So, the best way, I think, only repeating practice.
