They have opened in Bristol eliminating what were lounges for C class passengers and Priority Pass. They are expensive, limit the time you can spend there (difficult with airport security these days) to a couple of hours and require booking. Lounges like this, at least for frequent travelers are useless.

I have been in both 1903 lounges at Manchester airport and would definitely say terminal 1 is better.
Although I had a totally different experience in terminal 2 than you did.
Maybe depends on tne time of day.
I was in there 1pm till around 4pm.
