The iPhone 14 Pro Max is Apple's most advanced iPhone to date, and after using it for 95 days, I've come to realize that it has not only improved greatly over that time, but it also proved every doubter wrong (in relation to the AOD, Dynamic Island, etc).

So in this review, we discuss how the iPhone 14 Pro Max has evolved over the past few months and why I think it is (and is NOT) worth buying going in to 2023. We discuss the camera quality, battery life, performance, always-on display and much more. Enjoy!

Went from regular 11 to 14 Pro Max.huge upgrade for me.I struggle at first.the weight, not comfortable to use with one hand.but after couple of weeks i got used to it.the screen, battery life, camera, the fluidity.amazing.

I really like the dynamic island, it truly saves you time. My last iPhone was the 6s and I upgraded to the 14 pro max from another Android phone and now... I really wouldn't want to not have the island. Just recording a voice note if I'm using my 6s feels so slow, I literally have to go back to the app just to stop or pause the recording. Also tapping the island to scroll to the top is so so useful and saves a lot of time, there's a lot of things you can do with it and it's just the beginning

I’ll be completely honest. I preordered the 14 pro max as soon as it was released, upgrading from an 11 pro. I wanted the bigger screen and thought I’d treat myself, although there was really nothing wrong with my 11 pro. I was uncertain about the dynamic island and saw it as no more than a gimmick. I also thought it would be more intrusive. After owning the phone for a while now, I can say I actually love the dynamic island. And I don’t actually notice it more than the notch. I wouldn’t want to go back. It’s so smooth, no more screen pop ups, everything goes through the island. And because it’s an iPhone, it is implemented so well, and so smoothly, that it is actually incredibly satisfying to watch the animations. The more apps that use it, the better. I’m thoroughly loving this phone, and glad I held off upgrading until this phone was released. People say it’s barely an upgrade from the 13 pro max last year, but it is. It’s probably the biggest jump in years. I compared the 48mp camera to my mates 13 pro max and he wanted to upgrade his phone straight away. It’s that much different. Granted that is in raw mode and you can’t always shoot in that due to file size. The thing that also blew me away were the speakers. I’ve never heard phone speakers this good, and they’re better than the speakers on my iPad. So the camera upgrades, along with the brighter screen, better speakers, AOD (which is good now you can have it as a traditional black screen), much better selfie camera with autofocus… it offers a lot. You will not be disappointed if you’ve invested into this phone.

I moved from the 11 pro max to the 14 pro max and the camera difference alone is worth the change. But if the iPhone 11 Pro Max takes good enough photos for you then it’s better to wait for the 15 pro max for a better jump in processing power.

I went from a 11 pro max to a 14 pro max and honestly if you can afford to upgrade do it. I love the 14 pro max everything from the feel to the performance is amazing compared to my 11 pro max. The dynamic island is awesome for football scores and music and it just feels so much more premium than the 11 pro max. I can’t speak for anyone who has a 12 or 13 since they are similar but if you have a 11 or older and you can afford it, it is definitely worth the money for the upgrade!

Upgraded from 11 to a 14 plus loved it but it was to big for me . Returned it and got a 14 pro. Love this phone my battery life for the 14 pro is around 8-9hr sot for my usage . Up at 4am off charger at 4am get home around 3pm battery is at 60% . Around 10pm I’m at 20% .
