Like the way to explain to an intermediate player. All common sense stuff. Keep it up.

cool solo, concepts from the greats. You deserve more subscribers. I smashed that thumbs up! 👍

I like that. Yeah, you can hear the Albert King licks - very distinctive. Jimi H is still giving his cool comments. 👍

Just discovered your channel and I'm really loving it. What's the Fraser guitar like?

Hey Tim, I got the book and love the content. I was surprised that there were no backing tracks included to practice the various licks over…. Was looking for some mp3 tracks to import into my daw setup. Thanks!

For anyone one serious about learning & also some creative licks & understanding..this is well worth the $20 of knowledge 🤘🎸🤘I am a 3+ decades guitarist & I learned things I thought I already knew & even some I was wrong on. Glad I found this channel being recommended to me &/now subscribed and bought the book and support on Patreon & well worth it I think! Keep Rocking Tim🤘btw how about some Rory Gallagher please.. Maybe big Jim can help me out 🤘thanks!

I just wrote a whole reply and now it's not there. In case I made a mistake when posting it, I just wanted to say this is an excellent lesson. But if there is one thing I would do different is, I would not end the call with the root. This makes it sound resolved or like an answer. So I think when doing Call & Response, it may work better if the response ends with the root and the call not?

But this is such an underrated channel. You deserve a lot more views and subscribers. There are so many beginner's channels, but I feel when it comes to the intermediate level, it's quite lacking. Specially so well explained and with real world applicability such as your content.

I had never heard of the channel till a few days ago. But I see you have been at it for a few years. As somebody who works with marketing and has media production experience, I can only think the reason the channel is not more well known is presentation and polish. We live in the era of quasi-TV levels of production value on Youtube. Many people associate production quality to content quality, which is of course not related. But as they say, "sex" sells. There are so many guitar channels which are bigger and don't come close to delivering the level of instruction you delivery here. But they have higher production value, with a more polished visual aspect and that just resonates more with people for the reasons I wrote above. I know if one is a one man band and has no production background it's not as simple to add production value. But a few tweaks can go a long way into looking more polished.

You definitely should be reaching more people and have more views.

TIM, The theory behind turnaround lesson because the the turnaround is either walking up or down in half steps. The problem is to START the turnaround you have to find the root note of the V chord? You create a dyad/double stop or pedal point by keeping one finger on the root chord of the KEY while the other finger starts on the root note of the V chord? often other blues progressions will insert the bII chord which I don't know how to insert the bII chord in blues which you can make a lesson about it.

Ive got pretty good at going up and down the scales but its sounds robotic, unless im shown the tune like what your doing in the video, i havent been forcing myself to do economic picking is this essential at the start or can i just down pick?
