The Onlooker actually uses the lazer sound effect and visuals from Super Meat Boy. I love how this mod is giving representation for other McMillen games.

One of my biggest criticisms during the last Showcase was that the Womb simply looks too similar to the the vanilla version. Apparently the devs had the same thought and made sure to really differentiate the modded version from the original one.
And what can I say? The classic Utero was, if were being honest, not much more than a really basic variation of the womb, but the team managed to turn it into a much more distinct variant, ramping up the bodyhorror up by 100% while still keeping the theme intact.
The enemies also seem surprisingly reasonable for such a lategame floor, even though we surely didn't need even more host variants.

Uterus Rating: 9/10
Personal favourite enemy: Mobile Blood Cell. He do be walking though.

Not this level waking up my inner bio student lmao. If Womb have some organ based enemies, then this beats it in numbers, even having ones based on cells. I like that the organellese each have different colors and shapes like real ones. Alot of the enemies here are very bullet spammy, like the magleech, which I guess is fair given it's a mid-late game floor. I personally can't wait for the Corpse enemy lineup though

This floor makes me feel... lightheaded? Not like, because, it's hard, but like... the whole theme just makes it feel... kind of... surreal, y'know? Like, laying awake at the bottom of the Ocean, even though you're not drowning...



Or... something like that, I guess.
