Yes the Thinlines are great Bibles, my wife had one and loved it. She now prefers single column though so she’s nicked my Legacy! 😊 Great video thanks for sharing.

Of course this is 1 of the few of your videos I never got a notification for 😣! For someone that is not really into bible collecting, doesn't know all the jargon, etc. this was probably the best review I've seen for this bible! It's also actually refreshing to see a premium bible through someone's eyes who is describing their experience with it that does not know all the specs and jargon, it's almost better that way! It's a very nice bible but decided it's not "it" for me, I miss the red letter for these thinlines, & I found the font/print somehow smaller than the regular thinline. My favourite ESV thinline is still with the original 2001-2010 Crossway font style that were printed in their early era in Belgium. For me, can't beat that paper and print & the red letter is like crimson. Also, not sure if you're aware, Crossway has recently come out with their new Thinline reference which is line matched, it's their regular thinline in Tru tone which is a similar layout to the Omega but 8.5 x 5.5 x 1 format. And lastly, when you purchase your first private jet, please name it "Airline Thinloom" ✈️👍

I was on the fence about ordering this until watching your review. I've not ever used a thinline but I really like the thinness of my Pitt Minion. Its just too small for my eyes sometimes and its kind of falling apart anyway. Great review. Love to hear input from someone who actually uses the bible they are reviewing.

I know this video is 2 yrs old. What's wrong with ESV Omega? Line matched, premium and slightly larger margins. Checks all your boxes. Thinline was my first ESV Bible. I love it. Still do, but ultimately the bleed through, especially in the poetry, pushed me toward the Legacy Heirloom.

Regarding ribbons.... instead of replacing ribbons, you might consider taking a metallic paint pen and paint a pattern on the existing ribbons to make them different. Or add a bead or felt or leather tab to the ribbon to make it different from the other....

I completely agree with the notion that Crossway doesn't give the same attention to the thinlines. I recently bought the ESV Pastor's Bible. The gilding was very sloppy. It's uneven and the corners were heavier than the rest. I'm sure it will be better as it breaks in but the unboxing was a little disappointing.
