I love this Warren, and was pleasantly surprised hearing the second version. Unfortunately my broadband is too slow for even a speed test here in the UK. Sheet music on Amazon would be welcome, even though I class myself a beginner and I need time to absorb this. Two thumbs up and I shall listen again. Jennifer.

Do you have or know of any book/DVD from which I could learn everything possible. I'm more or less at an intermediate level. I noticed how you came up with so many chord extensions on the spot and harmonized those melodies. I'm also very interested in neo soul and gospel. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Warren, you're an absolute treasure to beginning musicians. So much knowledge and the fact that you share this knowledge (for a lot cheaper than I thought) is just downright incredible and I'd like to thank you for that. I have a question, though and if I can get any feedback I'd be absolutely humbled. I was trying to find a way to memorize different chord shapes and inversions in many octaves and I noticed a little "formula" for creating maj7 chords (for example) Let's say you want to play a Cmaj7 chord. I noticed that you can achieve it by playing a Cmaj chord in your left hand and an Emin chord in your right hand (which is the 3rd degree of the Cmaj scale) and that "1st degree - 3rd degree" formula SEEMS to work for every maj7 chord in every key. My question is: Is that approach correct or may it lead to some poor habits in the future.. or is it something that advanced players think about when they're playing extended chords? Again, any feedback would be greatly appreciated and God Bless You, Warren!
