Nintendo doesn't need to convince anyone. All of us around with a switch 1 have been waiting ages for a switch 2. We literally just want the same device, but better. Games are struggling too much on sweet old switch 1. Now throw in a must have game day 1, maybe the next Mario game, the next Mario kart game etc. And it's a done deal.

To me is crazy that Matt said is only a S model when hardware wise is like the improvement from Jaguar CPU to Zen 2 on the PS5. If a Switch 1 is able to have games like Tears of the Kingdom, Switch 2 will get even crazier stuff on it

With all that power in the ps5 pro, all they showed off was more ps4 graphics updates on games we have been playing for years. Nintindo has had more first party exclusives in the last 2 years then original made for ps5 games in the entire life of the system.

If these leaks are real, The Switch 2 is rumored to be somewhere between the PS4 pro and XSX in terms of power WITHOUT DLSS. With DLSS enabled it can go much higher. So this is a massive upgrade since the original Switch wasn't even as strong as XBone. Which was even weaker than the base PS4.

It wont be a hyge blow to people if their joycons arent compatible with the switch 2. its never been an expectation that previous gen controllers work with the next console
