I am blind, a senior with a bad heart, and a brain tumor, and now have to rent a room, in someone else's house, as the apt.I lived in kept the rents so high SSI did not afford me to live there any longer, have been on Hud housing list for over ten years.I live in the Gold Country of calif. I never imagined this would be how I would live in my golden years.But in my nightly prayers, I tell God how thankful I am to have a roof over my head.

A nonprofit in Indianapolis Indiana just opened up a special overnight parking for those who are homeless and need a safe place to park. There's resources too on the property. They listed people with jobs but can't afford rent etc and stressed it's not a bunch of drug addicts or alcoholics. It's something needed in more places.
