Crypto 1975 Crypto

Показать описание
Crypto's album, which has the same name as the band, is not an album that adds major innovations or completely different things to this genre. But it is a very high quality album that is enjoyable to listen to. It is a simple and simple album, with Jazz as its basis, its continuity continuing without interruption, and good use of instruments.
The album and the band are often compared to Placebo, the band of Mark Moulin, one of the distinctive keyboardists of the period. Among the groups of the region called Dutch, Placebo and Crypto can be said to be the most similar to each other.
The tracks on Crypto'nu album have more than one melody and are very rich in terms of processing. Keyboards naturally come to the fore in the album. Peter Schönn proves that he is a really good keyboard player, although not as good as Mark Moulin, in almost every track on this album. We should point out that the other members of the group had no trouble keeping up with him and even took part in most of the guidance.
It is possible to come across traces of Latin music in the album, where Funk and Soul influences are occasionally felt. The melodies, guitar and keyboards are pretty solid. There is an atmosphere of uncertainty almost everywhere in the album. This situation is usually a troublesome thing, but on this album it looks even better. It gives you great pleasure to wander among melodies that you don't know what they are or where they will lead, sometimes you think they are repeating themselves, but they go to different places, without knowing what will happen. It wouldn't be wrong to call it one of the lost beauties of the 70s.
