This doesn’t work for me. I bought a 2nd hand controller, and can pair it via Bluetooth, but it does NOT control anything at all. I thought I needed to download the PS Remote Play app first and create a SONY account etc.?

Have had a PS4 controller for about a month now and was able to connect it no problem at first but once I started pairing with my iPad and phone it stopped connecting even though I've gone through rebooting a fixing my settings. It says it's connected but controller doesn't seem to do anything when I try using it for a COD Mobile game. Is the controller defective?
