You got to love that the fact Jack's a copper has never done much to stop him sticking it on people. He's clashed with practically all the alphas in the square since he arrived in 2007 & been involved in the best fights in this show's history. Outside of this channel though he's not appreciated as the best scrapper Eastenders have ever had, but he easily is. For a character that isn't actually what you'd regard as an antagonist he's seen loads of action. The list of good fight scenes in this show in its 34 year history would've been absolutely pathetic if Jack's character never existed.

Harry's been acting like the cock of the walk since he arrived so this was incredibly satisfying from Jack. That said, Jack has to lose this feud because of Penny's plan to blackmail him. It's weird writing with Jack, he's a tough guy but they make him so inconsistent with his personality. And being a police officer is doing him more harm than good.

I found this a bit funny. When Jack says "Stay away from Penny", that was hypocritical given that he sided against his own daughter to get Chelsea off the hook and then all of a sudden, he's caring about her? Some Dad he is. Plus, he was well angry when learnt the truth after all that time blaming Penny. On the other hand, Denise should be grateful that Jack sided with Chelsea and not Penny; obviously you can understand why she felt like that as she saw Jack and Stace hug in front of her. Penny deserves better.
