It wss 1995, Tel Aviv, at Yom Kippur. The day of the RWC final, New Zealand playing South Africa. The hostel was full of Aussies - and one Kiwi. Being from Austria, I had NO idea about Rugby. The Aussies were all cheering for SA, so I said to the Kiwi "Man, I´m not having this. Whatever this is all about, I stand with you.".
New Zealand lost - and the Aussies decided to pay for all the beers in order to cheer us (well, mainly the New Zealander) up.
This was the day, when I fell in love with Rugby and with the All Blacks.
I don´t care much, who will win the final (slight tendency to the Chiefs, because they haven´t won in quite a while), but I sure will enjoy it.
