Teacher Supply Store - Suffolk Education Foundation
Показать описание
There is a store that all Suffolk teachers can “shop” for items they might need in their classroom and it’s free! Thanks to the generous support of the Suffolk Education Foundation, The Teacher Supply Store is operated by adult and student volunteers to provide this service. Nationwide, it is estimated more than 15 million children don't have all the resources they need to succeed in school and teachers spend more than $1 billion a year stocking their own classrooms in lack of funding.
The Suffolk Education Foundation was founded as a charitable organization in 1993. Its mission is to support Suffolk Public Schools by connecting the community’s talents and resources to expand educational opportunities for students and staff. With the commitment of the community, our public school students will develop their full potential, ensuring that the City of Suffolk, Virginia will continue to thrive and prosper.
