When this happened to me falling for my best female friend that is, luckily she never dropped that bomb on me, it just seemed so right, we are still happily together 3 years on. I would have been absolutely devastated had she tho, peeps should spend time to get to know each other before they take the plunge, be a lot less single parents out there, , just saying.
