Great series this week. 2020 Scrum guide certainly rounded the loop nicely from Scrum Values to Artifacts for Commitment. Committed to being a team player and Committed to Commitments on Artifacts. Thanks RR+TM 🌟

Our team is held to commit to at least 90% of the sprint backlog. Need to change management’s focus off say/do ratio and onto the sprint goal. Would love an episode where you explain how to create scope-flexible sprint goals, with great examples, to help us break out of this death march.

I am liking this video because it was fun hearing Ryan play with the music.

I love the point that there is not a commitment to the Sprint Backlog. That’s a death march. Definitely, a mistake made elsewhere. Without a good Sprint Goal, it’s easy to fall into that trap. Definitely fell in it although if I had flow metrics and developers became more facile at capacity planning, I would have backed off.

What was a dope episode! I think you should also play the same music just near the very end as outro.

As always, it’s an excellent episode. The Scrum Team commits to achieving its goals and to supporting each other. Is the next episode going to be another value?

Music sounds new to me but hearable lol…but kind of strange when I did not hear the regular one. Is it from Eminem’s song? Then it’s good.

I have a question about Refinement. Who should be involved? From your book, it should be Scrum Master, appropriate Developers (DM), and PO.

You also mentioned that “it’s perfectly acceptable for the product owner to delegate and ask the developers to refine items informally as needed.”. So when the developers know what they can do and PO trust them, in that situation, in the Refinement, only developers are there is ok? Even without Scrum Master?

Thanks!

I do not like your new intro music. Too hip-hopy for my taste. Sorry
