as someone with real freckles i think the problem with fake freckle products is that freckles are never really that dark! mine anyway are more yellowy brown if anything than the dark brown that brand make! Also freckles are literally every not just the nose and cheeks so like just having them in that area also just shows that they aren’t real? They still look beautiful on you though!

You know, you are not too far off with the mud comment. I’m 45 now and always had freckles. When I was a teenager, I once had a boyfriend tell me that I looked like I had a pile of …mud…(not the word he used) thrown at my face through a screen door. I broke up with him the next day but the damage was done. I was embarrassed by my freckles after that comment. A few years later, when I met my husband, he said he loved my freckles and from that day on, I stopped being embarrassed. 26 years later, he still says he loves my cute nose with my freckles ❤

As someone who has loads of freckles in the summer but misses them in winter, I SWEAR by the L’Oreal root cover spray in dark blonde for my freckles. You just really lightly press on the nozzle and it kind of spits them at you. It’s a good idea to practice on the back of your hand a few times to get the hang of it but they always come out perfect for me because they vary in size, shape and placement like real freckles! And they’re so easy to press on to make them a little lighter. I can’t do my makeup without it anymore, I love doing it when I’ve used a skin tint to make my skin look less makeup-y!

As a freckle girly, freckles can be everywhere, I have a couple under my eyes and then lighter ones on my forehead but my more prominent ones are on my forehead and my arms of all places. Faux-freckles when done well are super cute but they generally focus on the nose area
