Measuring is an important component in Mathematics. We cannot measure everything in the same way. For example, the length of a rope and the duration of time cannot be measured in the same way. We need different unit systems to measure different things.

Time
Two proverbs may come to our minds. 'Time is gold ' is the first one. 'Time and tide wait for none' is the second one.
Time is as valuable as gold. Gold is tangible whereas time is intangible. Remember this: All of us may not have equal amount of gold. But all of us have equal amount of time. Time and tide never rest. Tide is tangible whereas time is intangible. Can we measure something intangible? Yes, it is possible in Mathematics. Let's learn them.
